Julie joined the Farmlands Board in 2017 as an Independent Director and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. As a Professional Director, Julie’s other governance roles include being Chair of J. Ballantyne and Co Ltd, and Independent Director of Forté Health Ltd and Reform Radiology Ltd.

Julie’s executive experience includes more than 20 years with House of Travel in various commercial roles. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, a Certificate in Company Direction and she is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Julie is passionate about rural New Zealand and in partnership with her husband owns a 212ha farm on the West Coast.
