Julie joined the Farmlands Board in 2017 as an Independent Director and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. As a professional Director, Julie’s other governance roles include acting as an Independent Director of Forté Health Ltd and Reform Radiology Ltd.

Julie’s prior governance roles include Chair of J Ballentyne & Co. - the iconic Canterbury department store - and Chair of Cambridge Partners Ltd, a financial advisory and wealth management firm. Her executive experience includes more than 20 years with House of Travel in various commercial roles. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, a Certificate in Company Direction and she is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Julie is passionate about rural New Zealand and, in partnership with her husband, owns a 212ha farm on the West Coast.
