Financial Support
Financial assistance is available in several ways from Civil Defence payments to government grants to tax relief. See below for information and links on what support is available.
- Work & Income – resource page to assist with urgent accommodation, emergency food and bedding, loss of income and other support payments and services.

- Rural Assistance Payments - Rural Assistance Payments can help farmers during or after an adverse event, e.g. a flood or drought.
- IRD Emergency & Adverse Events - IRD support and guidance regarding emergencies and adverse events.
